Marilyn Dahl, RDN, MBA, Eating Disorder Specialist, RYT

Marilyn Dahl is a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Nutritionist.  Her background and training include traditional and holistic approaches to nutrition and she has worked in residential and outpatient eating disorder treatment settings. See her specialized training below in Yoga Therapy and Befriending Your Body.

Growing up in Nebraska, Marilyn learned to appreciate food from her Mom, a Registered Dietitian. She enjoyed the best grass-fed beef, chickens from her yard and the freshest vegetables from the garden. After struggling in other areas of college, mom suggested she try nutrition and found it to be a perfect fit. Like her aunt Marilyn, another Registered Dietitian, it’s really in the genes!  She received a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Nebraska and completed a dietetic internship at Touro Infirmary in New Orleans, Louisiana. She believes any food can fit and encourages people to eat fresh whole foods, balanced with chocolate.

Her counseling specialties include Disordered Eating and Yoga Therapy to augment healing. She can help navigate through the confusion that eating and body images can create and believes that a mindful and intuitive approach to eating is possible. Yoga as an adjunct helps join Mind, Body, and Spirit for healing. Her professional affiliations include:
