I hail from Jacksonville and graduated from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts (as a Dance major) and University of North Florida, where I graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Health Science (Track: Nutrition/Dietetics) and where I also completed my Dietetic Internship through the Independent Supervised Practice Pathways (I.S.P.P.) program. I currently play roller derby with Jacksonville Roller Derby (#10 in the WORLD!) and spend a fair bit of time watching dance videos on the internet. I previously was employed as an Eating Disorder Dietetic Technician at Wekiva Springs Center, where I worked with Marilyn and Jen, helping teenagers and adult women (and men) set the foundations in place on the journey of recovery from their disordered eating. I am excited to be working with Marilyn and Jen again and Stacia, and using my experience to help clients accomplish their nutrition and health goals. I believe in the principles found in the Health At Every Size Initiative and do not believe that shame, blame, and guilt belong when eating food. I love many foods including spinach, hummus, chocolate, and especially baked goodies!
